Florada is an advocate for Australian flower growers. In June 2021, Florada was invited to join the Flower Industry of Australia (FIA) and the growers it supports, in their call for Country of Origin Labelling for cut flowers, and to warn consumers about the potential toxic health risks of international flower imports.
